Corona Home Sales: May - October

Below is what the Real Estate market has been doing the last 6 months in Corona. It's broken down by different zip codes. For geographical purposes I labeled the zip codes by the following.

92882 - West Corona
The average price of homes has hovered below $300k and went over in September and appears to trend down. However this area has been a consistent in selling more homes in all Corona. This is a microcosm of the Real Estate market, where the lower priced homes sale more than higher priced homes. Click Here for more information for this area

92880 - Eastvale
Besides southeast Corona, this area with bigger homes Sale price average is $336k. The number of homes sold is trending down coinciding with all of Corona.

92881 - Southeast Corona
The average price of homes sold is $370k, with October average going up to $430k. Will this trend keep up? Not likely. The amount of homes sold is the lowest in Corona reflecting what the Real Estate market is doing with higher priced homes.

92883 - South Corona
The average price of homes sold is $322k. What I find interesting is the correlation between average price of homes sold vs the number of homes sold. In June as the average price sold dipped below $300k, homes soared from 49 to 73 making it the best performing month for all of Corona in the past 6 months. As the average price goes over $430k, the homes sold dipped below 50 for October.

Review the inventory and health of the market by looking at the number of sold properties and what the average price homes sold the last 6 months. By comparing these price trends, you'll have a good idea of where the market is heading.  With the Summer buying season leading into the fall, typically amount of homes sold trends down. This is a great opportunity for buyers, with the low interest rates and prices having a slight dip. This is because typically there are less buyers and therefore less offers to compete with.
