Rise in Home Sales: Does it mean Rebound in Housing?


Signs are pointing that housing may finally be rebounding according to Paul Dales chief economist at Capital Economics. "it is clear that housing recovery is now well underway.”

Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), agrees with the aforementioned assessment, “The pattern of home sales in recent months demonstrates a market in recovery.”

He said that consumers are gaining confidence from “record low mortgage interest rates, job growth and bargain home prices.”
